New areas in five states have announced as part of the NBN fibre and fixed wireless rollout. Note that for some of the named locations this represents an extension of NBN coverage.
In New South Wales, fibre is coming to Lalor Park and Kings Park (Sydney), and The Entrance and Blue Bay (Central Coast). Fixed wireless has been announced for Gregory and Tumbarumba surrounds (Albury-Wodonga); Boambee surrounds (Mid-North Coast); Alstonville North surrounds, Knockrow, Newrybar, Goolmangar (Northern Rivers); Eugowra, Yarrawonga, Oberon surrounds, Coolah (Central NSW); Tingha and Bundarra (New England); and West Wyalong surrounds, Coolamon surrounds, Uranquinty, Weedallion and Murringo (Riverina).
The additional parts of Queensland getting fibre are Paget, Bakers Creek, West Mackay and Ooralea (Mackay) and Mundingburra, Rosslea and Hermit Park (North Queensland). Fixed wireless is coming to Doonan West surrounds, Tinbeerwah surrounds, Yandina surrounds, Eumundi West surrounds and Coolabine (Sunshine Coast); Kearneys Spring, Darling Heights and Maryvale (South-East Qld); and Ingham surrounds, Bemerside, Millaa Millaa, Nome and Jensen surrounds (North Qld).

The fibre rollout in South Australia continues in the Adelaide suburbs of Prospect, Dudley Park, Moana, Seaford Rise and Maslin Beach, with fixed wireless planned for Glossop and Loxton surrounds in the Riverland, and Mannum surrounds in the Murrayland.
The pattern is similar over in Western Australia, with the Perth suburbs of Kewdale, Lathlain, Carlisle, Applecross and Mount Pleasant joining the queue for fibre. Additional fixed wireless rollouts have been announced to serve Beverley surrounds (Wheatbelt), Mount Barker surrounds and Kojonup (Great Southern), and Bridgetown South surrounds (South-West WA).
199,067 homes and businesses were connected to the NBN as at 9 June.
