Vodafone boosts small business plans

By

Vodafone has announced a range of new packages for small business.

Vodafone says that business customers who become what it is calling a ‘Ready Business’ for 24 months – with the $70 Red Business Grow plan or above with between five and nine connections – will save 25% on access fees for up to 24 months.

Ready Businesses on those plans with at least ten connections will save 50% on access fees for up to 24 months if they connect or upgrade before 30 September 2015. “With this offer new and existing business customers could be up to $1,680 per connection better off on Vodafone 24 month $70 and above Red Business Grow plans,” said Vodafone’s Stuart Kelly.

“For example, a small business with five connections on Vodafone’s $70 Red Business Grow plan would save $2,100 in access fees over 24 months while a business with ten connections on the $100 Red Business Grow plan would save $12,000 in access fees over the life of a 24 month contract.”

The deals were announced to coincide with the National Small Business Summit, sponsored by Vodafone. Kelley said the moves show Vodafone is serious about stepping up its commitment to the small business sector and helping Australian businesses become better connected.

“We know that small business is the lifeblood of this economy and we want to help these businesses continue to grow by offering them even better value”, said Kelly.

“This means enhanced coverage, fast 4G speeds and great value that travels with you. We realise that small businesses employ almost half of the Australians working in the private sector, so it’s important that these businesses and their employees are mobilised and getting the best possible value for their money.”

Vodafone Ready Business plans include infinite standard national talk and text. Ready Businesses will receive priority assistance from Vodafone’s local business support centre, while businesses with ten or more connections will enjoy a dedicated account manager.

“Following significant investment in the company’s mobile network, Vodafone is so confident in its network reliability that it is now the only telecommunications provider offering small businesses a network satisfaction guarantee,” said Kelly.

“To start our relationship on the right foot, we offer new customers a network ‘happiness’ guarantee: if customers aren’t happy in the first 30 days, they can cancel their contract and only pay for what they’ve used.”
