The Big Bang Theory has arrived on Presto at last from today, with seasons 1 to 7 ready to watch, and season 8 arriving on Presto ‘in 2016.’

Shaun James, Presto’s CEO, said, “When we announced The Big Bang Theory would be coming to Presto, we knew it would make a big splash, and the response from our subscribers has been overwhelming. We’re delighted that from today, fans will be able to stream the first seven seasons of this hilarious comedy exclusively on Presto.”

Other comedies and shows of note on Presto include the first five seasons of Modern Family, as well as shows including Veep, Parks and Recreation, Louie, Flight of the Conchords and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

All of these shows can be watched on select smartphones and select tablets, PCs, Macs, Google Chromecast, played via Airplay on Apple TV as well as select smart TVs, including now those running Android TV 5.0 and above, which include Sony smart TVs and Google Nexus Players.

And that’s the second part of today’s news from Presto - its new native Android TV app is now available.

If you have an Android TV, you can fire up Google Play and download the Presto app for Android TV.

Other December content on Presto (a full list is here) includes ‘Home and Away: An Eye for An Eye’ special event, which is Presto’s ‘first local commission,’ as well as hit TV programs including Bates Motel season 1, Homeland seasons 1-4, Parks and Recreation seasons 1-6 and movies including Unbroken, The Social Network and Fifty Shades of Grey.
