February is when those ‘favourite’ TV shows return to our screens with new seasons and new episodes, and when ‘summer sports give way to AFL and NFL,’ according to Telstra’s latest Exchange blog post, by Telstra Exchange editor, Rick Molinsky.
Molinsky says that for him, ‘that means Foxtel,’ which is unsurprising seeing as Telstra offers Foxtel packages and it is offering its ‘eligible’ customers a free bite of the Platinum HD Package cherry - or at least, free for three months.
You’ll need to visit this Telstra Foxtel page to see if you qualify.
To help those ‘eligible’ customers ‘ease into another year of the best in local and international shows, sports and music,’ Molinsky says that ‘Foxtel from Telstra is offering eligible customers a three months free Platinum HD package with no lock in contracts until 30th April. The platinum package includes all the channel packs, so you won’t miss a moment and experience all the entertainment Foxtel from Telstra has to offer.’
To add a bit of pizazz to the news, Telstra took upon itself to take up the marketing skills and reality-show, fashion icon glamour of ‘Real Housewives of Melbourne Star’ Gina Liano to ‘share what she’ll be watching over the next few months.’
While you can read the full details and reasonings for Liano’s choices, it should come as no surprise whatsoever to discover that Liano’s No.1, top rated show, is one that features herself!
Of course, this means the Number 1 show she’ll be watching is Season 3 of ‘The Real Housewives of Melbourne’ on Foxtel channel ‘Arena’.
No.2 on Liano’s list may well be a reflection of the celebrity prison she presumably sometimes finds herself in, what with fame, presumed fortune and paparazzi a part of any celebrity’s glitteringly fashionable yet arduous life.
If you haven’t already guessed, Liano’s No.2 show to watch this year is Wentworth, now in its 4th season to air on Soho.
The list concludes below, please read on!

No.3 on Liano’s listicle of three should also come as no surprise: Game of Thrones.
Of course, it’s not just season 6 that Liano is looking forward to, but the complete season 1 to 5 boxsets featuring every single episode to date of what is arguably the world’s most popular show, certainly one that an element of ‘Real Housewives of Westeros’ in some of the tantrums seen on the show, although these are usually far more chillingly killing that anything coming out of Melbourne’s ladies.
