In a statement, Tangerine claimed that prices for similar plans ranged from $79 to $100, with most ISPs charging between $89 and $100.
Tangerine Telecom chief executive Andrew Branson said: “The 100/40 plan started off in the industry at $99 per month, now the fastest possible Internet service is only $69.90, which makes it more affordable for the average Australian household.

Tangerine has a wholesale relationship with Vocus Communications which has connections to all 121 NBN points of interconnect.
