Aussie Broadband automates enterprise NBN ordering

By

Aussie Broadband already processes automatically almost 90% of its residential and small business NBN orders, and is now extending this capability to enterprise NBN services.

The service provider says it is one of the first companies to provide this service to bigger businesses, corporate and government clients.

"We're very excited to announce these changes ," said general manager of sales Aaron O'Keeffe.

"This is definitely a game changer. No other telco has done this before – to this level."

One effect is that all plans and prices are visible online.

"We value transparency, which is why we're happy to make this information available to our customers. They will also be able to customise their service and purchase enterprise products entirely online. We believe this has never been done before," said O'Keefe.

"We know that one of the biggest challenges for all businesses, from SMEs through to enterprise customers, is the time and complexity ordering services from the Big Four. We're here to make it easy for anyone to sign up for business telco services."

According to O'Keefe, even multi-site businesses building an internet-only or private IP network can configure suitable services for themselves, for example by selecting the bandwidth required at each location up to 1Gbps.

"And if they would like to speak to someone, one of our all-Australian support team will be there, ready to help."

Aussie Broadband supports all NBN traffic classes for companies with business-critical applications such as videoconferencing and cloud access, as well as voice and general data usage.

It's not just about automating the process from the customer's perspective. O'Keefe said an enterprise NBN service can be connected without a staff member needing to touch the order.

"We've always been a company that likes to do things differently. You tell us that something can't be done, and we'll generally find a way to do it."
