The current list of supported Android tablets to watch Presto’s TV shows and movies includes the Galaxy Note 8 - GT-N5110, Galaxy Note 10.1 - GT-N8010, Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition - SM-P600, Galaxy Tab 3 - SM-T310, Galaxy Tab 2 - GT-P5100, Samsung Galaxy Tab S (8.4 Inch) - SM-T705Y, Samsung Galaxy Tab S (10.5 Inch) - SM-T805Y and… the Google Nexus 7, from Asus.
No other Android tablets work with the Presto service despite competitors having no such problems on a range of Android devices.
That said, the service is available where it is available, with Foxtel and Presto to change it when they’re ready or are forced to by market conditions, while for the first time that I can see promising more supported devices to come, as you’ll read below.
For some reason, when Foxtel turned on the Presto TV service just over a week ago, Android tablets weren’t part of the initial mix, despite all the other aforementioned devices being able to tune into Presto’s brand new suite of thousands of hours of TV programming, as it seeks to lock in as many potential Netflix, Stan, Quickflix and streaming service customers as possible, or at least count them as active, monthly paying subscribers.
It costs $9.99 for other the TV show or the movie package, and if you want both, the bundle costs $14.99 per month ‘with no ongoing commitment’.

It’s still ins’t quite a-la-carte pay TV channels but I guess it’s a step closer to that eventual direction, we just have to put up with all these competitors and models in the meantime.
Anyway, Presto notes that ‘subscribers can register up to four compatible devices and watch two devices simultaneously.’
Shaun James, Foxtel’s Director of Presto and On Demand, said: “Presto is committed to try and offer our services across the widest range of devices and we welcome Android users to our new unbelievable entertainment experience.”
“We will also continue to work closely with market-leading consumer electronic vendors to ensure our supported device line-up supports the biggest releases in the tablet, mobile, smart TV and gaming consoles and we expect to make further announcements shortly.”
