Kogan has launched a new 11XL option to go along with the availability of 4G service, at last, on the Kogan Mobile MVNO network.
Kogan Mobile was originally slated to go 4G "by the end of June", so to deliver this even before the end of May seems to either be incredibly good fortune or a case of Kogan cleverly under-promising and over-delivering.
To celebrate the new 4G service, Kogan Mobile has announced the aforementioned new Prepaid Option of 11XL.

The 11XL Option is available now for $49.95 for 30 days, or $499.95 for a full year, putting strong pressure on competitors like Boost and Amaysim.
As a special launch bonus, Kogan Mobile is turning the 11XL into 12, delivering 1GB of Bonus Data.
The 5XL plan is also getting a special time-limited bonus of 2GB data, bumping up the data allowances to 12GB and 7GB respectively.
In addition, I checked with Kogan Mobile as to whether its Vodafone-powered service delivered Visual Voicemail to iPhone customers, and was delighted to discover this is definitely the case, with details on how iPhone users can activate this here.

Kogan Mobile’s other existing prepaid options, the 1XL and 3XL, have also been transitioned to 4G at no extra cost to existing customers, which means that from today onwards all Kogan Mobile customers will have access to 4G connectivity.
David Shafer, executive director of Kogan.com, said the fast-tracked roll out of 4G was part of Kogan Mobile’s commitment to continuously improve the value customers receive from the service.
“We promised our customers 4G connectivity was coming by June this year. We have delivered on that promise and we have delivered it ahead of schedule.
“Kogan Mobile has made 4G more accessible for Aussie consumers, at affordable prices that won’t break the bank. We’re also providing Bonus# data on some existing plans, as well as a new plan to cater for people who love using heaps of data. New and existing Kogan Mobile customers now have more options than ever to choose the plan that works best for them,” he concluded.
