Optus has launched a new suite of international usage and roaming add-ons on selected prepaid plans targeting travellers.

The telco says the prepaid plans give users ample international talk time and have been introduced in response to travellers wanting to share their travel experiences.

“We’re excited to launch these new Add-Ons, which are perfect for travellers wanting to share their experiences with family and friends back at home. They’re also great for those wanting to make international calls from Australia,” said Optus head of Strategic Projects, Vidur Rattan.

“We’ve heard from our customers who have informed us that they just want to relax when travelling overseas and use their phone worry free, just like when they’re at home.”

“These new add-ons are great value and the data is very easy for our customers to manage, which can all be done via the My Optus App.”

The new Optus prepaid add-ons offers features including:

$5 International Talk – Includes up to 300 minutes standard international talk to 50 selected destinations. 28 days expiry.

$20 Roam Data – Includes $210 value, equivalent to a massive 10GB to use in Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, UK and USA over 5 days.

The new Add-Ons are available on the Prepaid Epic Data Plan and Prepaid Epic Value Plan and customers can purchase them online or via My Optus app.
